Description
Crispy and delicious cinnamon-infused banana chips made in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 large ripe bananas
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- Cooking spray or oil for greasing
Instructions
- Peel the bananas and cut them into thin slices, approximately 1/8 inch thick.
- Place the banana slices in a mixing bowl and drizzle the lemon juice over them, ensuring each piece is coated to prevent browning.
- In another bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon, mixing them well.
- Gently sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar blend over the banana slices, tossing them lightly for an even coating.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and apply a light layer of cooking spray or oil to the basket.
- Lay the banana slices in a single layer within the basket, avoiding any overlap.
- Cook the banana slices for about 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crisping.
- Once golden and crunchy, transfer the banana crisps to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the banana slices are uniform in thickness for even cooking.
- Adjust the sugar and cinnamon to taste if desired.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container to maintain crispness.
