Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. In a second shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third shallow bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  5. Dredge each shrimp in the flour mixture, shaking off excess, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Arrange the breaded shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
  7. Cook in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For added flavor, try mixing some grated Parmesan cheese into the breadcrumbs.
  • You can also substitute the shrimp with chicken tenders for a different protein option.
