Description

Lemon Garlic Butter Salmon delivers mouthwatering flavor with a perfect blend of lemon, garlic, and herbs.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill (or 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped)
  • Sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and cook for about 1 minute, stirring frequently until it becomes aromatic, but be cautious not to let it brown.
  3. Take the skillet off the heat and mix in the lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, sea salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Arrange the salmon fillets, skin-side down, in a greased baking dish. Drizzle the lemon herb butter mixture generously over each fillet.
  5. Bake the salmon in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until it is opaque and flakes easily with a fork, reaching an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  6. Once cooked, allow the salmon to rest for a few minutes before serving. Accompany with lemon wedges for an extra burst of flavor.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh herbs if available.
  • Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preference.
  • Serve with a side of vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
