Description

Pulled Pork Nachos are a delicious and hearty dish perfect for gatherings, featuring layers of tortilla chips topped with seasoned pulled pork, cheeses, and fresh toppings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pulled pork, cooked and shredded
  • 1 bag (12 oz) tortilla chips
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup fresh pico de gallo
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (pickled or fresh)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the pulled pork with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the pork evenly.
  3. On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer.
  4. Evenly distribute the seasoned pulled pork over the tortilla chips.
  5. Sprinkle the black beans over the pulled pork, followed by the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and top with pico de gallo, sour cream, jalapeños, and chopped cilantro.
  8. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add more jalapeños or drizzle with hot sauce before serving.
  • Substitute the pulled pork with shredded chicken or beef for a different flavor profile.
