- Prepare dandelion petals by harvesting 4 cups of fresh petals, rinse thoroughly and set aside.
- Simmer the dandelion petals with 4 cups of water for 10 minutes.
- Strain the mixture to yield about 4 cups of dandelion juice.
- Combine juice, pectin, and butter in the saucepan, then heat and stir.
