Method
 

Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
  3. Pour in ½ cup of melted butter and add 3 room temperature eggs, then stir gently until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from oven, brush the top with ¼ cup of melted butter and sprinkle with a mixture of ½ cup granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon.
  7. Allow to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before slicing into bars.
