Step-by-Step Instructions

  4. Pour in broth and bring to a gentle boil.

  6. Simmer the soup for 20 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
  7. Remove the bay leaf and blend the soup until smooth.
  8. Stir in heavy cream, if desired, until fully incorporated.
  9. Taste the soup and adjust seasoning as needed.
  10. Ladle soup into bowls and garnish with parsley.
