- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Press half of the refrigerated sugar cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Place the Peeps evenly over the dough, pressing them down gently.
- Scatter the remaining sugar cookie dough over the top of the Peeps.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes.
- Carefully swirl the softened Peeps on the surface using a spatula.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow bars to cool at room temperature completely before refrigerating for about 1 hour.
- Slice into squares using a butter knife sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
