Frosting Ingredients
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter At room temperature for a fluffy base.
  • 4 cups Powdered Sugar Provides sweetness and structure.
  • 2-4 tablespoons Milk To thin out frosting, add vanilla for flavor.
Decoration Ingredients
  • 12 pieces Green Ice Cream Cones For leprechaun's hat.
  • 1 package Black Candy Clay For forming belts.
  • 12 pieces Gold Edible Buckle Or use chocolate coins.
  • 1 cup Sprinkles Festive sprinkles for decoration.

Method
 

Cupcake Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tray with paper liners. Combine cupcake mix, eggs, oil, and water in a mixing bowl. Blend according to package instructions with an electric mixer for 2 minutes until smooth.
  2. Fill each paper liner two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool in the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  3. Once cooled completely, prepare to frost.
Frosting and Decoration
  1. Frost each cupcake generously with a piping bag, using a star or round tip to create thick swirls.
  2. Place a green ice cream cone upside down on each cupcake, pressing gently to secure.
  3. Shape the black candy clay into belts and wrap around the base of the cone.
  4. Add a gold buckle or chocolate coin to the front of the belt. Finish with festive sprinkles for decoration.
