Cupcake Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tray with paper liners. Combine cupcake mix, eggs, oil, and water in a mixing bowl. Blend according to package instructions with an electric mixer for 2 minutes until smooth.
- Fill each paper liner two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool in the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Once cooled completely, prepare to frost.
Frosting and Decoration
- Frost each cupcake generously with a piping bag, using a star or round tip to create thick swirls.
- Place a green ice cream cone upside down on each cupcake, pressing gently to secure.
- Shape the black candy clay into belts and wrap around the base of the cone.
- Add a gold buckle or chocolate coin to the front of the belt. Finish with festive sprinkles for decoration.
