Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a blender, combine 2 cups of frozen cherries, 1/2 cup of fresh lime juice, 1/2 cup of tequila, 1/4 cup of orange liqueur, and 1/4 cup of simple syrup. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth.
  2. Check the texture. If too thick, add a few ice cubes and blend for 15-20 seconds for a slushy consistency.
  3. Taste and if not sweet enough, add more simple syrup and blend briefly.
  4. Pour into chilled glasses, filling them about three-quarters full.
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim and a cherry on top.
