- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth with few lumps.
- Combine the sour cream, eggs, melted butter or oil, and sugar with the mashed bananas, whisking until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
