Preparation Steps
- Prepare the Coffee Mixture by brewing strong coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature, about 15-20 minutes.
- Make the Cream Mixture by combining mascarpone cheese, sugar, and heavy cream in a mixing bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Assemble Layers by dipping ladyfingers quickly into the cooled coffee mixture and laying them at the bottom of individual cups.
- Add Cream Layer by spooning a generous layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, spreading it evenly.
- Repeat Layers by layering more coffee-dipped ladyfingers on top of the cream and another layer of mascarpone mixture.
- Chill by covering the assembled cups with plastic wrap and refrigerating for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.
- Serve by removing the cups from the refrigerator and dusting with cocoa powder before serving.
