Method
- In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the seeds.
- Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar to the pitcher. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and mix well. Adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
- Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh strawberries if desired.
