Preparation
- Melt the butter over low heat until fully liquid, about 3–4 minutes.
- Stir in the marshmallows and continue heating, stirring constantly until melted, about 3–5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Fold in the Fruity Pebbles cereal and white chocolate chips until evenly coated.
- Mix in food coloring if desired.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish.
- Allow to cool completely for about 30 minutes.
- Slice into squares or bars and top with fresh fruit before serving.
