Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound total)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the olive oil over the chicken breasts, then sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken breasts over.
  6. Brush half of the BBQ sauce over the top of the chicken.
  7. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Brush the remaining BBQ sauce over the chicken before serving.
