- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
- Melt ½ cup of unsalted butter and whisk in 1 cup of brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in 2 large eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add 1 cup of all-purpose flour, ½ tsp baking powder, and 1 tsp cinnamon. Stir gently.
- Fold in 1 to 2 cups of diced apples and ½ cup of chopped pecans until well distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 35 minutes.
- Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
