  • 2 medium Honeycrisp Apple Can substitute with Gala or Fuji
  • 2 pounds Chicken Thighs (Skin-On) Can use boneless skinless
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoning Salt, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Smoked Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado Oil

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels, then season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add avocado oil, and sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for 6-7 minutes until golden brown. Flip and sear for an additional 4-5 minutes.
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet and add diced onion and grated garlic, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in apple cider, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, grated ginger, and a pinch of nutmeg, then simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return the seared chicken thighs to the skillet, coating them generously with the glaze.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
