  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh garlic can be used as an alternative.
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder Can be replaced with finely chopped onion.
  • 1 tsp Cumin Coriander can be a substitute.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Adjust to taste.
For the Taquitos
  • 10 pieces Tortillas Flour or corn tortillas both work well.
  • cooking spray Cooking Spray or Olive Oil For brushing to achieve a crispy exterior.

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.
  3. Take a tortilla and spread 2-3 tablespoons of filling along one edge. Roll tightly and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  4. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray or brush with olive oil. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving with sour cream, guacamole, or salsa.
