- Generously season beef ribs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin. Let sit for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear ribs on all sides for 4-5 minutes until caramelized.
- In a separate pot, combine tomato sauce and chopped chipotle peppers, bring to a simmer for 10 minutes.
- Transfer seared ribs to the pot with sauce, cover, reduce heat to low, and cook for 3-4 hours.
- Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or sugar if needed. Serve hot.
