Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Grease it lightly with cooking spray or oil.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then let cool.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle. Cut into 16 equal squares, each about 4 inches wide.
  4. Place a scoop of the beef mixture in the center of each dough square, top with cheddar cheese, and fold the corners tightly to seal.
  5. In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil and stir in 1/2 cup of baking soda. Boil each filled dough ball for 30 seconds before transferring to the baking sheet.
  6. Brush each bomb with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired.
