  • 1 loaf Garlic Bread Loaf Choose high-quality bread for best results.
For the Filling
  • 1 lb Ribeye or Ground Beef Ribeye offers tenderness and flavor.
  • 1 cup Provolone Cheese Or use Cheddar or Mozzarella.
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped, sauté until translucent.
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper Sliced.
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter For sautéing.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Fresh minced for flavor.
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 cup Mushrooms Sautéed for added flavor.
  • 1 jalapeño Chopped Jalapeños Optional, for spice.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add 1 chopped onion and 1 sliced bell pepper, cooking until softened, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Add 1 pound of ribeye or ground beef to the skillet. Cook for 5–8 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in 1 cup of provolone cheese until melted and well mixed.
  5. Slice the top third off the garlic bread loaf and hollow it out.
  6. Fill the hollowed loaf with the beef and cheese mixture.
  7. Wrap the stuffed loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Unwrap and bake uncovered for an additional 5–10 minutes to crisp the crust.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing to serve.
