Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Vampire’s Fig & Thyme Punch
  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water with 4 fresh thyme sprigs. Bring to a simmer until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
  2. Juice one lemon for about 1 ounce of juice and strain through a fine mesh sieve.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 tablespoons of fig jam, 2 ounces of gin, 1 ounce of lemon juice, and 1 ounce of thyme syrup. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes, strain the cocktail mixture into each glass.
  5. Garnish with thyme sprigs and fig slices. Serve immediately.
