Step-by-Step Instructions for Vampire’s Fig & Thyme Punch
- In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water with 4 fresh thyme sprigs. Bring to a simmer until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
- Juice one lemon for about 1 ounce of juice and strain through a fine mesh sieve.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 tablespoons of fig jam, 2 ounces of gin, 1 ounce of lemon juice, and 1 ounce of thyme syrup. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes, strain the cocktail mixture into each glass.
