Preparation Steps
- Begin by gently removing the jellied cranberry sauce from the can, using a bottle opener if needed. Slice into ½ inch thick discs and arrange on a lined baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet with the sliced cranberry sauce in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add dark chocolate chips and coconut oil (if desired). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until fully melted and glossy.
- Retrieve the frozen cranberry slices and dip each slice into the melted chocolate using a fork, ensuring complete coating.
- Place the dipped slices back on the lined baking sheet, leaving space between them. Return to the freezer for about 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
- Once the chocolate has fully hardened, serve the bites on a platter. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
