Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Method

  1. Peel the bananas and cut them into thin slices, approximately 1/8 inch thick.
  2. Place the banana slices in a mixing bowl and drizzle the lemon juice over them, ensuring each piece is coated to prevent browning.
  3. In another bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon, mixing them well.
  4. Gently sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar blend over the banana slices, tossing them lightly for an even coating.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and apply a light layer of cooking spray or oil to the basket.
  6. Lay the banana slices in a single layer within the basket, avoiding any overlap.
  7. Cook the banana slices for about 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crisping.
  8. Once golden and crunchy, transfer the banana crisps to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
