Ingredients
  

Pasta and Sauce Ingredients
  • 400 grams spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 400 grams canned tomatoes crushed
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  4. Add ground beef to skillet, cook until browned.
  5. Stir in canned tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
  6. Simmer sauce for 30 minutes.
  7. Serve sauce over drained spaghetti.
