- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef to skillet, cook until browned.
- Stir in canned tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
- Simmer sauce for 30 minutes.
- Serve sauce over drained spaghetti.
