Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the masa harina with melted butter, chicken broth, and diced green chiles in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Heat the cooked chicken, green enchilada sauce, and chopped cilantro in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Spread half of the masa mixture in a baking dish, layer the chicken mixture on top, then add the remaining masa mixture.
  5. Sprinkle shredded Monterey Jack cheese generously over the top.
  6. Bake for approximately 40 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for about 10 minutes before slicing to serve.
