  • 1 cup Ground pork or shrimp Feel free to use chicken or tofu.
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions Chopped.
For the Broth
  • 4 cups Chicken or vegetable broth Store-bought for convenience.
  • 4 cloves Garlic Fresh minced.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger Grated.
For Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce Or gluten-free soy sauce.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons More green onions Chopped, optional.
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil Drizzled before serving.

Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare the wontons by laying out the wrappers, placing a spoonful of filling in each, moistening edges, and sealing tightly.
  2. Heat the broth in a large pot, adding minced garlic and grated ginger until boiling.
  3. Add the wontons to the boiling broth and simmer for 5-6 minutes until they float.
  4. Stir in soy sauce and green onions, simmer for an additional minute.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions and a drizzle of sesame oil.
