Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your ingredients to create a seamless cooking workspace.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the low-fat cream cheese and plain Greek yogurt until smooth. Incorporate dried basil, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  3. Fold in half of the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until well mixed.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken with marinara sauce until well coated.
  5. Spread half of the chicken mixture evenly in the bottom of an 8-inch cast iron skillet. Layer the creamy cheese mixture over the chicken, and top with the remaining chicken mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Keep an eye on it to prevent over-browning.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with baguette slices or crackers.
