  • ½ cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes Chopped.
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Adjust according to your preference.
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream Substitute with half-and-half or evaporated milk if desired.
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated.
For the Veggie Boost
  • 2 cups Baby Spinach Adds nutrition and flavor.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Brown the sausage, breaking it apart for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add sun-dried tomatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Add the browned sausage and spinach, cooking until the spinach wilts.
  6. Combine the drained pasta with the skillet mixture, adding reserved pasta water gradually for desired consistency.
  7. Serve garnished with fresh basil and extra Parmesan cheese.
