  • 1 jar Organic White Beans / Queen Cannellini Beans
  • 1 large clove Garlic Crushed
  • 2 pieces Lemons Zested + juiced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Can substitute with avocado oil
For Garnishing
  • 1 handful Fresh Sage Leaves Fry until crispy
  • 1 handful Capers Cook until crispy

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Beans: Drain the jar of organic white beans and reserve about 2 tablespoons of bean stock. Rinse under cold water.
  2. Blend the Base: In a blender, combine the beans, garlic, olive oil, and lemon zest. Blend until smooth.
  3. Adjust Flavor and Consistency: If serving cold, add lemon juice and mix until well incorporated. Add reserved bean stock if too thick.
  4. Heat for Warm Serving: Transfer to a saucepan and heat over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring gently.
  5. Fry the Sage Garnish: Heat olive oil in a skillet, add sage leaves, and fry until crispy. Drain on paper towel.
  6. Optional Capers Topping: Fry capers in the same skillet until crispy, about 1-2 minutes. Drain on paper towel.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm or chilled, garnished with crispy sage and capers. Pair with crostini or vegetable crudités.
