Preparation
- Finely chop the peeled and deveined shrimp until it forms almost a paste. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp with minced garlic, green onions, salt, white pepper, sugar, garlic powder, and cornstarch, mixing until smooth and sticky.
- Trim the crusts off slices of bread. Spread a generous layer of the shrimp mixture on half of each slice, then top with another slice of bread, pressing gently to secure.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. Lightly coat both sides of the assembled shrimp toast with cooking spray.
- Place the shrimp toast in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- While the shrimp toast is frying, mix Kewpie mayo and Sriracha in a small bowl to make the dipping sauce.
- Once cooked, allow the shrimp toast to cool for 1 minute before serving with the dipping sauce.
