  • 2 leaves bay leaves remove before serving

  • fresh parsley chopped

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare ingredients by cutting beef, dicing onion, mincing garlic, and slicing carrots and celery.
  2. Brown bacon in a skillet, remove, then sear beef in batches until browned.
  3. Sauté onions, carrots, and celery until softened, then add garlic.
  4. Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker including liquids and seasonings.
  5. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
  6. Add pearl onions and mushrooms during the final 30 minutes.
