Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Crockpot: Spray the inside of your 5-6 quart crockpot with non-stick spray.
  2. Mix the Cake Batter: Combine chocolate cake mix, whole milk, canola oil, and eggs. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Pour Batter: Pour the cake batter into the greased crockpot and spread evenly.
  4. Prepare Pudding: Mix chocolate pudding mix with milk until smooth and slightly thickened.
  5. Add Pudding & Chips: Pour pudding over cake batter and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  6. Cook: Cover crockpot and cook on high for 2 1/2 hours, check that edges are set and center is gooey.
  7. Serve: Let cool for a few minutes, serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
