Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Add in red food coloring and vinegar.
  5. Using a cookie scoop, portion out the dough onto the lined baking sheet, leaving space between cookies.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set but centers are slightly underbaked.
