Step-by-Step Instructions for Pumpkin Brownies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350℉ (175℃) and line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the brownie batter using the instructions on the brownie mix. Stir in chocolate chips.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Spread three-quarters of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan. Spoon the pumpkin mixture over the top.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl the batters together with a knife.
  6. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
