- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, beat until well blended.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips, mocha chips, and dried cherries until evenly distributed.
- Drop rounded mounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space in between.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden around edges and soft in the center.
- Remove from oven, let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
