Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (or 375°F if using an air fryer). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough until it’s about 1/8 inch thick and slice into rectangles of roughly 4x6 inches.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of marinara or pizza sauce onto the center of each rectangle, leaving a clear edge all around.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce on each rectangle. Optionally add grated Parmesan, mini pepperoni, or veggies.
- Fold each rectangle over the filling, enclosing the ingredients, and crimp the edges securely with a fork.
- Whisk an egg and use a pastry brush to coat the tops of the sealed pizza pockets with the egg wash.
- Bake the prepared pizza pockets on the lined baking sheet for 15-18 minutes until they are golden brown.
- Let them cool for about 5 minutes before serving them warm with additional marinara sauce on the side.

Notes
Make sure not to overstuff or the pockets may burst while baking. Use parchment paper for easy cleanup.
