For the Casserole Base
  • 1 can Refrigerated Biscuit Dough Cut into quarters
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese Cheddar or a blend of cheeses
  • 2 tablespoons Melted Butter Optional for brushing

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll the refrigerated biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk. Add in the frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Fold the quartered biscuit pieces into the chicken filling mixture.
  5. Pour the filling mixture into the greased baking dish and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  7. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
