Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Activate the Yeast: Combine warm milk and half sugar, sprinkle yeast on top and let bloom for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Dough: Mix the yeast mixture, remaining sugar, eggs, butter, extracts, allspice, flour, and salt.
  3. Let the Dough Rise: Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm area for about 1.5 hours.
  4. Roll and Fill: Roll dough into a rectangle, spread butter, and sprinkle with the filling ingredients.
  5. Form the Rolls: Roll tightly and slice into 12 pieces.
  6. Second Rise: Place in a greased pan, cover and allow to rise again for 1-1.5 hours.
  7. Bake the Rolls: Preheat oven to 350°F and bake rolls for around 30 minutes.
  8. Make the Icing: Beat cream cheese and butter, then mix in powdered sugar and maple syrup.
  9. Ice the Rolls: Drizzle icing over rolls after they cool for 10 minutes.
