Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup French onion soup
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley optional for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, French onion soup, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
  5. After 1 hour, remove the meatloaf from the oven and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Once done, let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
