Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Gradually add the lukewarm water and mix until a sticky dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic, then shape it into a ball and place in a greased bowl.
  3. Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rise in a warm location for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  4. Prepare the garlic butter filling by mixing softened butter, minced garlic, and herbs in a small bowl until creamy.
  5. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle. Spread the garlic butter filling evenly over the dough, then roll it tightly from the long side.
  6. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces and place them cut side up in a greased baking dish.
  7. Cover the shaped rolls with a towel and let rise in a warm spot for about 30-45 minutes until puffy.
  8. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool the rolls in the pan for 5-10 minutes and brush with melted butter before serving warm.
