Ingredients
  

For the Meatloaf
  • 1 pound Ground beef or ground turkey for a lighter option
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs or oats/crushed crackers
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 large Eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup Milk or dairy-free alternative
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard or yellow mustard
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup low-sugar option for healthier
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika or regular paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley for garnish
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup primary ingredient
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar reduce for less sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease your loaf pan.
  2. Sauté finely chopped onions and minced garlic in olive oil for about 5 minutes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, beaten eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, ketchup, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cooled onion-garlic mixture. Mix gently.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together glaze ingredients until smooth.
  6. Spread a thin layer of glaze over the meatloaf. Bake for 45 minutes, brushing with more glaze halfway through.
  7. Check the internal temperature; it should be at least 160°F (71°C). Continue baking if needed.
  8. Remove from oven, let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
