Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of 80/20 ground chuck, 2 tablespoons of ranch seasoning mix, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and 4 strips of chopped cooked bacon. Gently mix the ingredients until just combined. Set aside for a few minutes.
- Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into loose patties. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to ensure even cooking.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat and lightly grease it. Add the patties and cook for about 4–6 minutes per side, checking for a nice sear.
- While the burgers are cooking, butter the inside of the buns and toast them cut-side down on medium heat until golden brown.
- Once cooked, let the patties rest for a minute, then place each on a toasted bun and load with your favorite toppings. Serve immediately.
