Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash the carrots thoroughly under cool running water. Peel and slice them into 1-inch thick pieces if using larger carrots.
  2. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add maple syrup and stir until combined. Allow to bubble for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  3. Transfer sliced carrots to a large mixing bowl and pour warm maple glaze over them. Toss until well-coated.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread glazed carrots on a greased baking sheet. Bake for about 30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until fork-tender.
  5. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and serve warm as a side dish.
