Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
  2. Mash 3 to 4 ripe bananas until smooth, then mix in 1/2 cup of sour cream, 2 beaten eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups of flour, 1 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just incorporated; do not overmix.
  5. Gently fold in 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts.
