Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Sprinkle taco seasoning and Better than Beef Bouillon over the beef. Stir and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the Dr Pepper and water. Bring to a gentle simmer, reduce heat to low, and cook for 5-10 minutes until thickened.
  5. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden. Gradually add beef stock and red enchilada sauce, stirring constantly.
  6. Sprinkle in chili powder and simmer for 5-7 minutes until sauce thickens.
  7. Lay out tortillas. Spoon beef mixture along the center of each, add cheese, roll securely, and place seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
  8. Pour enchilada sauce over the burritos and top with more cheese. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
