Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
On each triangle, sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese and a few slices of pepperoni.
Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the cheese and pepperoni.
Starting from the wide end of the triangle, roll the dough up towards the point, forming a crescent shape.
Place the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the tops of the croissants with the beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
