Ingredients

  • 2 cans 8 oz each refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 egg beaten, for egg wash
  • Marinara sauce for dipping, optional

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. On each triangle, sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese and a few slices of pepperoni.
  4. Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the cheese and pepperoni.
  5. Starting from the wide end of the triangle, roll the dough up towards the point, forming a crescent shape.
  6. Place the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops of the croissants with the beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
