Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the crumbled bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Sauté chopped onions and mushrooms in the same skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes until softened.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, and Parmesan cheese. Add sautéed veggies and crumbled bacon and mix.
  5. Incorporate eggs, Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of ketchup, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  6. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf in a greased baking dish. Spread the remaining ketchup on top.
  7. Bake for 60–70 minutes, checking for an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  8. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving warm with sides.
