Ingredients

For the Chicken Filling
  • 2 cups diced rotisserie chicken
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for sautéing
For the Cheesy Goodness
  • 1-2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar) or pepper jack for spice
  • 1 tablespoon butter for crispiness
For the Wrap
  • 4 pieces tortillas flour, whole wheat, or gluten-free
  • 1/4 cup parsley for garnish

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Baking tray

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season diced rotisserie chicken with salt and pepper, and bake for 15-20 minutes or until heated through and slightly crispy. Alternatively, grill or sauté over medium heat until golden. Set aside.
  2. In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat until shimmering. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, or until golden and aromatic.
  3. Combine the cooked chicken with sautéed garlic in the skillet, and stir in shredded cheese until melted and blended.
  4. Assemble wraps by placing a spoonful of the cheesy chicken mixture in the center of a tortilla, fold sides inward, and roll tightly.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Cook the wraps seam-side down for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove wraps, let cool slightly, and slice before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
