Step-by-Step Instructions for OREO Bat Cookie Ball Pops
- Begin by finely crushing 9 OREO cookies using a food processor or a zip-top bag with a rolling pin until you achieve a uniform crumb. Set aside, break the remaining OREO cookies in half for bat wings.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed OREO cookies with softened cream cheese. Mix until smooth, then shape into 12 equal balls.
- Melt a small amount of semi-sweet baking chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Dip one end of each lollipop stick in the melted chocolate and insert into each cookie ball.
- Line a baking sheet with wax paper and place the cookie balls on it. Freeze for about 10 minutes to firm up.
- Melt more semi-sweet baking chocolate, then dip each cookie ball into the melted chocolate until fully covered.
- Trim the edges of the cookie halves to create flat ends. Dip the flat ends in melted chocolate and press onto the sides of each cookie ball as bat wings.
